TCJ Contributor
Nick Hasted has been a journalist since 1986. He had a strong run at the end of the 20th century as TCJ’s main UK correspondent, conducting major interviews with the likes of Grant Morrison, Garth Ennis, Hunt Emerson, Peter Milligan, Bryan Talbot, Steve Bell, and Neil Gaiman, who chose the occasion to announce his retirement from comics, and writing a critical piece querying, at a pre-millennial nadir, Whatever Happened to Alan Moore? He is now back writing for TCJ. He also writes about film, music, books and comics for The Independent (Nick Hasted | The Independent), The Arts Desk (Nick Hasted | The Arts Desk), Uncut, Jazzwise and Record Collector, and has published three books: The Dark Story of Eminem (2002), You Really Got Me: The Story of The Kinks (2011), and Jack White: How He Built An Empire From The Blues (2016).
