5friday

Sam Henderson has contributed to many dozens of anthologies and produced the comic book Magic Whistle for over 20 years. Magic Whistle was nominated four years in a row for a Harvey Award for Special Award for Humor. His Scene But Not Heard comic appeared in every issue of Nickelodeon magazine from 1993 to 2010. Sam was also an Emmy-nominated writer of a number of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon shows. His gag cartoons appeared regularly in the curiously pink newspaper The New York Observer.

If nobody is leaving comments, it must be because Sam Henderson leaves them speechless! I can’t even draw and he’s an influence on my occasional attempts at comics! Plus he once published a poem I wrote in the Magic Whistle! Henderson! Henderson! Henderson!

  2. Robert Lamb says:

Great job on this whole series, Sam! Funny, fun stuff.

  3. Stuart Stratu says:

This was such a pleasure to read! I only wish it was longer than five days. Next time, can somebody please get Sam Henderson to do this for a Summer Cartooning Camp?
