Ben Passmore Reports Back On An Evening With Yoshitoshi!

In July, The Comics Journal hit me up about covering a talk historian Ryan Holmberg and cartoonist Ronald Wimberly we’re doing at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The two were in my town to talk about Japanese print maker Tsukioka Yoshitoshi’s bloody body of work and it’s influence on manga and American comics.  I love Japanese print, blood, and a good talk on esthetics so I told the Journal is was into it. - Ben Passmore
