Jen Lee makes comics and draws animal juveniles for a living. She freelances out of her farmhouse in Idaho and lives with really nice dogs, cats, and chickens. Does Thunderpaw and draws some stuff for Drop Dead. Did Vacancy, another sad animal comic, published by Nobrow. She has also done some character design work for TV people.
