Thanks for posting The Wide World of Kutztown, Kevin. I’m really enjoying it. I met Keith Haring when he came to the elementary school for a talk and to share his art with the entire student body. I still have the two t-shirts he signed for my son and me. He was also featured in Weekly Reader once while I was teaching third grade. He signed that for me as well. I still have that somewhere!

  3. Linda, thanks for sharing your story. And thanks to everyone from Kutztown who has said nice things about this project. Here and on the street. Some of you may not be comics readers but you can learn a lot at The Comics Journal, where they review and feature artists for every taste. The Jim Rugg and Eleanor Davis essays this week were great. So glad I was invited to do this.

Am I the only one who’s still worried about Dave?

Just saw Dave yesterday, driving up our alley. Best mailman ever!

This is great! When I was house hunting in Kutztown, I looked at the Haring House. It was out of my price range at the time, but I remember thinking how cool it would be to live there, because they had painted the bathroom, but painted around an painting Keith had done of a baby 👶 on the wall. I hope it’s still there :)

Glad to hear Dave is OK. Whew from South Carolina. I’ve only been to Kutztown once but this feels like a daily visit.
