There have been a number of biff-bang-pow-thud kind of comments threads over at the Hooded Utilitarian recently. I thought I’d point especially to the week-old-but-still-going-strong thread on Robert Stanley Martin’s Frazetta post, which includes a heated exchange between Robert and Jesse Hamm, as well as long contributions by message board regulars Russ Maheras and Mike Hunter. Norman Rockwell, Jackson Pollock, Michaelangelo, and many others have their names taken in vain.

And if that seems like too much testosterone, you can check out Erica Friedman, Caroline Small, me, and others, debating the relative worth of Jane Austen, and/or Twilight.
