Renée French is a definite outsider in the online comics community. Her online web-based work, with such sites as USSCatastrophe.com, OniPress.com, and her own site, ReneeFrench.com (on which she posts previously published work), display her traditional pencil drawing style and grotesque humor in a new light. We chatted about her work and youth via email one weekend while French was visiting with family.
